Severe Torture - Misanthropic Carngae - CD
If you're looking for something that is straight-forward and brutal
then this is one of those albums. Each song may consist of anywhere
between four and eight riffs that contain various drum rhythms over them.
While most of the riffs are fairly basic in composition, the speed at
which they are played is nothing but satisfying. Many of the riffs will
start with a "basic blast-beat," then to a "fast blast-beat" then to a
final round of pummeling double bass. Each guitar riff is very clear
and distinguishable, making it a fun album to play your guitar to. Many
of the songs have those "minor- third" riffs,(5th to 8th fret type
stuff/cannibal corpse sound) with the guitars tuned to D. The clear
production adds to the easy "comprehension" of what this band is
playing. I personally gave this album five stars because of it's clear
